How to sync Kindle books not purchased from Amazon (Non-Amazon purchased books)?

I have been downloading some books from the internet in mobi format on my computer. I connect my Kindle with the USB and paste the files in the documents folder of my Kindle. I can read them on my Kindle but they don't get synced on the cloud. How do I sync these books? I am fine if I lose my bookmarks or reading progress just want these to be backed up. Please help

If God killed someone for trying to help, does that mean we are supposed to kill missionaires?

(2 Samuel 6:6-7) And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

All this guy wanted to do was help The Lord, and God ended his life. Does that mean the next time a Christian knocks on my door trying to "Help The Lord" that I get to end their life. Isn't Christianity great?

How to Find The Amazon Account Associated With My Kindle On The Actual Device?

I have two kindles which are linked to the same Amazon account. Unfortunately, when I made my Amazon account I created a totally random email address and never thought about it again, assuming I wouldn't need it. That, as you can imagine, is not the case. I am having some problems with my kindle, and after a little research, I found a way to fix it. However, I have to sign in to the Amazon account my kindle is associated with. Well, isn't that lovely. So, my question is: is there a way to figure out what amazon account is linked to my kindles on the actual kindles or am I doomed? And if so, how?

Does a word like this exist?

In a scene I'm writing a lightning strikes the ground and starts a fire. Like a word to describe the starting of a fire on the grass. I think there might be one that starts with a 't', like tinder which helps to start a fire. If there isn't, what word could I use to visualize it? Here's the sentence: The sparks caught on the dry grass and she could see the __________ of a fire
I guess maybe 'beginnings' of a fire, but I want something that sounds more connected to what we associate with fire. Just any ideas help.
Added (1). 'The sparks caught on the dry grass and she could see the kindlings of a fire'
Can that word be used in that way? Because kindling is just dry twigs used to start fire, not the start of a fire.

How to fix my procrastination problems over the summer?

Like most teenagers, I have a very bad procrastination problem. I often wait until the last minute to do my homework, so I end up not going to sleep until 2am on most nights. This really hasn't been good for my mental health, and I need to fix it.
The school year's practically over, but I want to fix this over the summer. Is there any way I can make myself stop procrastinating so much over the summer so that I'm ready when school comes back around next fall?
