Dropped my Kindle in the Toilet?

I dropped my Kindle in the Toilet. It seems to have survived as it powers on and functions normally. However, what was in the toilet has left me a bit afraid to use it now. I have a warranty on it so can get it replaced, but it appears to actually work so not sure if I can actually return it.

Or I can try and clean it somehow, but not sure what I should use.

My question is should I seek to replace the Kindle under warranty somehow or just clean the device and its case with a cleaning solution and if so what should I use to clean it? I assume some sort of anti-bacterial wipes?

Tumblr won't let me unfollow a blog?

I want to unfollow this blog on Tumblr, but even after I got unfollow, it keeps showing up after I refresh my following list.

Referencing Kindle books in an essay?

Does anyone know how to reference a Kindle ebook in an essay (Harvard style) when there's no page numbers? How to cite it in text, especially, where I have to write the page numbers? I can't get access to a physical copy of the book in time, nor do I have time to contact anyone at uni who might know, so has anyone got an obvious solution to this?

How to write a book that's Fiction but has a Non-Fiction Premiss?

Hello,

I'm wanting to write about a dog and his friend that travel the world in search of one thing. The man happens to be a top Geographer and is on a mission to discover the holy grail. The dog is his friend and basically motivation. I'm asking for a step by step or some type of idea starter to write this book. I'm going to be a Senior next year and I need some money. I love writing and researching but I need money for college. I'm planning on putting it on the Kindle Store instead of actually going to a publisher because I know it will be rejected and plus I live in Iowa, there's nothing here.

I need to find a book about Donatello for a paper but can't find one. Any suggestions?

My teacher wants us to have a book source for our papers, but I'm having trouble finding a book about Donatello. He said it would be ok if the book had at least a chapter about the person, but I can't find any with even that much. Do any of you know of a book that would work? And I'm not talking about the Ninja Turtle named Donatello ;)

Writing a Non-Fiction Book Advice?

Hello,

Hi everyone I have a bit of a problem. I'm trying to write a short 60 page book on Geography.

- Coastal Geography
- Political Geography
- Climatology/Meteorology
- Historical Geography
- Seismology
- Oceanography
- Economic Geography

These are the ones I like the best. I'm trying to keep it a short documentary type of book. I love writing, I enjoy it, and It's a hobbie. I have the ideas in my head, I just can't put it on paper. I plan on putting it on Amazon.Kindle Store, if I can get an Idea. Basically I'm just asking for advice and maybe some techniques. Can I also get some advice on how to stick with an idea and not being un-confident about it. I love doing research and it's fun, it's just looking for away to put it on paper.

Can somebody positive and really just helpful answer this question because I was just lectured the other day on how terrible it is and how I'm not fit for it.

Is it worth $15 to have the ads removed from the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9?

I'm considering getting a Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 16 gb. I'm curious about the ads on the lock screen. Are they pictures or videos? How long do you have to watch the ad for? Is it worth the extra $15 to have the ads removed? I wasn't really planning on spending $400 on a tablet, but it looks like that's what I'm going to have to do to get a medium/large tablet that's fast. My dad has a samsung galaxy tablet and complains that it's slow, so I'm willing to pay extra for a fast tablet. I'm planning on reading a lot of magazines, surfing the internet, and maybe some games on it.

What are your opinions on the tablet and do you think it's worth $15 to get the ads removed?
