I was wondering if anyone has used a Kindle Fire for college textbooks? If so, which model (HD? HDX?) what are your opinions? Pros & cons? Also how many GB? I know the Apple IPads are supposed to be the best but I simply cannot afford one at this time. Thanks!

Wireless printer and my devices?
I'm getting an HP wireless printer. I know now that I'll be able to print from my smartphone, Kindle Fire, and netbook.
I'd like to be able to print from my AOL email account.
Is there a particular printing app that I should download to my devices?
Should I wait until I get the printer before I download the app?
Finally, do I need to get an app that's the same brand as my printer?

Format a kindle eBook for Amazon? - 1
Hi,
Actually I have just completed an eBook. It has a lot of pictures and tables. After putting in a lot of efforts, now I have come to know the kindly formatting requires to insert the pictures rather than copying or pasting. I did by copying and pasting, is there a way to ease my problem? Please guide.

Have you ever lost something vaulable and found them the same day?
This night, I took my Mom's Kindle on the way home and I couldn't remember where I had it, so I checked almost every house, and my mom found it on the driveway outside and it seems like the screen has a messy spot because My dad (now divorced) drove with his van and ran over with it nearby the street. I am now not taking to it anymore. Mom's Kindle is charging to see if the screen is fixed. I live in Vernon, CT. Has anyone ever did that?

How to get my Kindle 4 to connect to Wi-Fi again?
My Kindle 4 was just recently updated. I am now required to input a password everytime I turn it on, like a cellphone. I am also unable to turn on my WI-FI. It is not in the settings and I don't see where to re-enter it or set it up to my Kindle. Please help.

How should I price my book? And how would I go about publishing?
I'm intending on publishing my story, Icarus, once it is completed. It is still very much in its early stages but once it's done, I really want to publish.
If I were to price it at £3.99 through Amazon Kindle, I'd get 60% of the price. Of this, I'd intend to give about 10% (24p) to a cancer research in memory of my grandfather. Is £3.99 a reasonable price? A friend suggested maybe £4.99, but I don't know if anyone would buy it at that price. Are there any other ways of publishing online that would give me more than 60% of the price?
I would also be interested in publishing a paperback version, and I'm really not sure how to go about that. If it costs a lot of money I wouldn't be able to do it: I'm not overly wealthy and I don't know how well the book would sell. Would it be a good idea to publish online, see how that goes, and use profits from online sales to fund paperback versions, or should I just stick to an online market?
I know I've asked a lot of questions, and I'd really appreciate any feedback!
