Did I buy this item twice?

I bought a book from amazon (kindle)
Then I accedently hit the cancel order by mistake so I went to re get it and it said item is already bought.
So later I went on my kindle and it wasn't there so I bought it again.
will I be charged twice?

I need the name of a book!

OK so all I remember so far is… there was a little girl who is the daughter of a rock star, her father gets her when she is like 6 and she has a fear of the dark and has a teddy bear with her. Her father moves her to England or something like that. Her father and his girlfriend end up having a daughter. The dad and his girlfriend are having a party one night and the little girl gets killed when a kidnapping goes wrong… then it's about when the older girl is older… I know i sound a little crazy but I had it on my kindle and now I can't find it!!! and it's not "The rock stars daughter"! Can I use a Visa gift card on an Amazon account for my kindle fire instead?

My grandmother gave me her old kindle fire & it says in order to make an Amazon account I must put my bank account information on it. I don't have a bank account. Can I just enter a Visa gift card so I can make an account & buy books? All help will be much appreciated.

Kindle for pc won't sync, any suggestions?

Hey,

my kindle app for my pc won't sync with my amazon account.i've tried sending books to the device loads of times but it won't work.i renamed my pc on "manage devices" to see if there was any connection and it changed it on the app like i wanted it to.i don't get it.

I want to self publish a ww2 book?

I want to self publish non fictional ww2 book on amazon but I don't know whether to publish it as a book or a e book for the kindle or both or if amazon would a good place to publish it and if not where should I publish it. Also would a book like this be better paper back or hardback. Thanks for answering in advance

Finding it hard to read after a long break from reading?

Hi, I've recently started reading the Game of Thrones series (not far in so please no one post spoilers!) on Kindle, and I'm finding it hard to read them.My eyes seem to skip words and not always go to the right line. However, in all honesty I haven't read for my own enjoyment/generally read a lot over the past couple of years. I've just finished my A-levels and I've been doing subjects that haven't required me to read a lot. I suppose that it's been 2 years or so since I really read books for pleasure. I was wondering whether people think that I'm just out of practice at reading, and that if I just persevere I'll get back into the habit. I used to be a very good reader (really not meaning to boast, but in the reading tests at school I used to score a reading age of 16+ from about the age of 11 I think, I'm now 18). I do also understand, however, that I might still need to get used to Martin's style and it may be different reading on a Kindle. What do people think?

Before they had the new layout, I could access MOST videos. However, with the new one, it is saying I need to buy Flash/Java, which I previously did not need. What can I do?

Getting French books for Kindle?

I'm considering getting the Kindle paperwhite.
My main concern is whether or not I will be able to buy french books for it as well as english books.
I'm assuming I will have to buy them from the french amazon website.
Am I missing anything or will that work fine?
Any details regarding price, difficulties doing so or anything else would be much appreciated
