If I upload some books on my Kindle from The Pirate Bay via USB, simple text files, will my Kindle be banned by Amazon? A friend of mine worries about this and she believes that if she turns her Wi-fi on, the guys at Amazon will instantly know that she is stealing books and will "hack" her Kindle, turning it into a $100 brick.
