I have written a short novel of 42,000 words that is intended for 10 to 14 year old boys. I do NOT want to simply dump it on Amazon kindle and then forget about it and let it get lost to cyberspace. I want it to get proofread, edited, illustrated, published and marketed. Or if its not suitable then I want to have it rejected and told what changes it needs to be marketable. How do I go about this? Do I approach publishers with my manuscript? How?
