How to clean this burn mark out of the carpet?

So I put a piece of kindling in the fire but it was too big to shut the door, so I left it slightly open to hold the kindling in the fire. I left it, it was a stupid thing to do, and something was burning, it was the carpet, and it left this mark. Any ideas as to how to clean or rid of it?
The carpet is blue, but the lighting in this photo isn't the best.
