I have a regular desktop PC, and I got a Kindle Fire HD today, but when I plug it in (to multiple USB ports), it offers to install the hardware on my computer (from a disk), and the Kindle itself shows that it's connected to a charger and the battery is powering.
However, in the 'my computer' area, I see no Kindle or USB software showing up, regardless of how many times I connect it or refresh it. What is going on!
