How to safely download music from YouTube without viruses?

I want to download some videos from YouTube to use the music for something i'm making but I'm not sure what sites are safe. Is flvto.com safe? What about conv? I'm downloading them onto an Android phone and my antivirus is avg free because Malwarebytes hasn't worked on this phone or my Kindle.

How do I get wifi in a place I don't have a wired connection?

Going on vacation in a place that has has subpar 3G service and no wired internet connection. I'm looking for a way to get a wifi connection. Is there a device that makes this possible? I have a laptop, a kindle fire, and a couple Virgin Mobile phones. Thanks in advance.
